    Guion is located in southern Izard County at 35°55′35″N 91°56′26″W / 35.92639°N 91.94056°W / 35.92639; -91.94056 (35.926425, -91.940598),[4] on the northeast side of the White River.

    As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 90 people, 37 households, and 26 families residing in the town. The population density was 155.3 inhabitants per square mile (59.9/km²). There were 45 housing units at an average density of 77.6 per square mile (30.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 88.89% White, 10.00% Black or African American, and 1.11% from two or more races.

    There were 37 households out of which 21.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.2% were married couples living together, 2.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.7% were non-families. 27.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
